Objective

As this school of martial arts is lesser known in Hong Kong, the Association has been promoting it for years to enhance its popularity. Activities such as self-defence skills are specially designed for youth to improve their self-confidence, as well as to instil the spirit of discipline, respect for others and a sense to serve the community through training.

  • 1978 Director Fong began his 20+ years of training in kali stick
  • 1995 Kali stick instruction began
  • 1997 Classes were organised at Central Police Station
  • 1998 Classes were taught at the Junior Police Call of Kowloon City
  • International Kali Arnis Eskrima Federation was founded in the same year
  • The Hong Kong Philippine Kali Association was founded
  • 2005 Classes began at the Police Sports and Recreation Club
